Andrew Blomberg, VP, Global Benefits
Currently the Vice President of Global Benefits at International Citizens Insurance, Andrew works with global organizations and places business with our carriers worldwide. Mr. Blomberg has extensive knowledge regarding global group benefits, including disability, life, travel, global medical, and expat insurance plans for international citizens.
Andrew can help your organization research global benefits for your international team, provide quotes from multiple carriers, assist with the application and onboarding process, and will work with you during the term of coverage to assist with managing your plan.
Andrew has been with International Citizens Insurance for more than seven years. His experience, dedication, and hard work have made him a leading expert in the field and an invaluable resource to our clients.
Andrew is passionate about exploring new places when not caring for his international clients. He has traveled worldwide, including trips to the Pacific Coast, multiple cities in Canada, and the Caribbean. He looks forward to visiting Europe, particularly northern Scandinavia. Besides his career and travel aspirations, Andrew leads an active lifestyle and enjoys hiking, trail running, and spending quality time with his Pug Moose.
A licensed property, casualty, life, accident, and health insurance producer, Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College in May 2014. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts' Isenberg School of Business. Andrew also holds the Associate degree in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.
Andrew has more than ten years of experience in the insurance field. Before joining ICI, he was a new business coordinator with Tonry Insurance Group. He also worked for Liberty Mutual Group ($38.5 billion revenue 2015) from 2013 to 2016. At Liberty Mutual, he completed the Excellence in Underwriting Foundations program, strengthening his fundamentals in underwriting commercial risk exposures.
