Hazardous Sports Coverage is also available at an additional cost for plan holders participating in extreme sports while traveling. Who is Eligible for Wander Frequent Traveler Coverage?

Seven Corners requires travelers to be at least 14 days old and under the age of 75 to purchase Wander Frequent Traveler coverage. Travelers may purchase coverage for a spouse or travel companion and children under the age of 19.

Geographic Restrictions:

  • U.S. State Restrictions – Seven Corners cannot accept an address in Maryland, New York, South Dakota, or Colorado.
  • Country Restrictions – Seven Corners cannot accept an address in Cuba, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Syrian Arab Republic, Virgin Islands (U.S.), Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).
  • Destination Restrictions – Seven Corners cannot cover trips to Antarctica, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Syrian Arab Republic, Cuba, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).

How long can I go on a trip for with a Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

Seven Corners offers three covered trip lengths. Travelers can purchase coverage for a 30, 45, or 60-day trip.

Why should I buy a Wander annual travel plan with COVID-19 coverage?

You should purchase an annual trip insurance plan with COVID-19 coverage because if you contract coronavirus while on your trip, Seven Corners will cover your medical expenses. Your health insurance at home is unlikely to cover illnesses or injuries incurred while traveling. Several countries now mandate that international visitors have a travel insurance plan with COVID-19 coverage.

How does the Wander travel insurance plan work?

With the Wander travel insurance plan, Seven Corners will cover you while you travel outside of your home country on a covered trip, saving you the hassle of booking insurance for each separate trip. A covered trip begins on the day you depart from your home country and ends on the day you return to your home country. You may choose your covered trip length when applying for the plan. 

Where can I travel with my Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

Travelers may choose from two coverage areas, Worldwide excluding the United States and Worldwide including the United States.

Can I extend my Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

At the end of the 364 day plan period, you may renew your Wander travel insurance plan to cover your next year of travel.

Can I cancel my Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

Yes, you may cancel your Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan and receive a refund if you do so before your effective date of coverage. Seven Corners will not issue a refund if you cancel after your coverage has started.

What is the effective date of my Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

The effective date is the start date of your coverage. Coverage can begin at 12 a.m. on the day after Seven Corners receives your application and payment or at 12 a.m. on the day you request.

What is the expiration date of my Wander Frequent Traveler Plus plan?

The expiration date is the day your coverage ends.

Your coverage ends at:

  1. 11:59 p.m. on the date you reach the maximum period of coverage,
  2. 11:59 p.m. on the date shown on your Seven Corners I.D. card, or
  3. 11:59 p.m. on the date that is the end of the period for which you paid.

Does Wander Frequent Traveler Plus cover pre-existing conditions?

Yes, the Seven Corners Wander travel insurance plan covers pre-existing conditions. Seven Corners will cover medical expenses for non-U.S. residents traveling in the U.S. if they have a heart attack or stroke. Seven Corners will cover medical expenses regarding pre-existing conditions incurred by U.S. residents traveling outside of the U.S.
