Diagnostic and preventive services include routine and emergency oral exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, X-rays, space maintainers, sealants, and oral pathology lab services.
Basic services cover extractions, oral surgery, dental medications, fillings, periodontal treatments, repairs, anesthesia, and root canals.
Major services include inlays, crowns, dentures, bridgework, occlusal guards, and precision attachments. Orthodontic services are available for individuals under age 19 and include a lifetime maximum.
Vision care includes one eye exam per year, along with prescription lenses, frames, and contact lenses when provided by a physician, optometrist, or optician.

No, your BCBS Global Solutions Worldwide Specialty policy does not renew automatically. Members are notified at least 60 days before the policy expiration date. BCBS Global Solutions requires insureds to confirm their new policy rate in writing or accept it in the secure customer portal.
Plan rates are based on your age at the time of renewal and are impacted by medical inflation. You need not answer any further medical questions when renewing your policy.

If you will be abroad for less than three months, we recommend the Blue Cross Blue Shield Single Trip Platinum plan, formerly known as the GeoBlue Voyager plan, which is designed for U.S. citizens and residents traveling from 7 days to 6 months.

To receive this benefit in countries experiencing open hostilities, it is essential that the insured person is not participating in any hostile or combative activities. This provision allows members to have peace of mind, knowing they are protected even in regions with potential terrorist threats.
Yes, plans from BCBS Global Solutions fulfill all Schengen Visa requirements. If you plan to travel to any Schengen area countries, you may need to provide proof that your insurance plan includes specific benefits, depending on your nationality.
BCBS Global Solutions can provide you with a Visa letter, which you can present to the consulate as proof that your policy meets all Schengen visa requirements. This letter includes all the necessary wording that the consulate needs to see.
